We are currently hiring for a Power Engineering student to work with our team from May 1st 2017 – Sept. 1st 2017.

Reporting to the Operation Manager, the successful applicant will work alongside the Operations and Maintenance teams who are ultimately responsible for achieving maximum efficiency, reliability and safety of the plant operations. This is a unionized position.

To qualify for this position you must be scheduled to return to school at the end of the work term. The work schedule is 40 hrs/wk, 8 hrs/day. Start and stop times will be determined as to practicality, but will be during normal daytime hours.

In order for this work placement opportunity to be a benefit for all concerned, the successful candidate will have the following abilities:

Climb up to ten flights of stairs. Carry out duties from heights, for instance; Standing/walking on grating up to 30 meters high. Lift up to 20 kgs.

Comply with all company policies as they pertain to health, safety and personal conduct.

Follow direction and cooperate fully with instructions under the supervision of operations and maintenance staff.
