June 27, 2008 - Minister Smitherman throws the switch on Portlands Energy Centre. George Smitherman, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, recently joined more than 100 guests to celebrate the opening of the station. Here Finn Greflund, Trans Canada Energy, Patrick Lamarre, SCN Lavalin, Alex Pourbaix, Transcanada Energy, Minister Smitherman, Pierre Charlebois, OPG, Jim Burpee, OPG, and Jim Twomey, OPG, join together to turn on a symbolic switch.
